Series like this upset me, because they waste so much potential. I really wanted to like this, but the show is suffering from stupid and unlikable characters, bad writing, and mediocre actors. I like the premise and was initially intrigued and entertained, but halfway through the first season, I started to sour on this.

I don't have any issues with not seeing much of the aliens or the lack of action. On the contrary, I actually liked that part¹ as it adds to the tension. I just lost interest in the actual story lines, making it a chore to get through these ten episodes.

These 2 stars are generous, but I was entertained for a while. And the soundtrack by Max Richter is good.
