I watched this movie once in the early 90s, probably shortly before or after I watched T2 (which I saw in the theater, close to its release). I never watched it since and my memory of it really faded in all those years. I always argued that the sequel was the better movie of the two. Now, ~30 years later, I gave it another viewing and I must say that "The Terminator" holds up and is an amazing movie on its own right.

T2 might still be the better movie experience overall, but both get the full five stars from me.
