Decent Sci-Fi show made by the idiots who ruined Game of Thrones. The first season is based on the first novel of the Remembrance of Earth's Past series1 by Liu Cixin, so Benioff and Weiss haven't had the chance to mess it up yet.
The first season climaxes in the middle episodes, with the first half of the season being much better than the somewhat disappointing second half, but I'll give the second season a shot2.
