I tried to get into this game before, but abandoned it not too far into the journey. I'm giving it another try at the moment, but the story so far just doesn't get me invested at all. This is the first Witcher game I tried; maybe that's one of the reasons.

So there's this chick with that weird spelling. Yennefer von Vengerberg, wtf?! And then there's this pale Witcher-dude and I guess the story is that he's very thirsty after dreaming about her sitting nude in a bathtub, so he now has to find her. Then there's people called Mislav and Gislav everywhere. Quests just follow the old: go somewhere, click on where they tell you to click, kill something-trope. Meh. If this is supposed to be the best or one of the best open-world games of all-time, then there's definitely something wrong with the genre.

And yes, I know that I'm pretty much alone with this opinion.
