I did not know who Cruella was and that the movie was actually related to "101 Dalmatians", which I had heard about but obviously hadn't seen either. Oh, it's actually based on a novel? Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit. Maybe my ignorance was a good thing, because the movie was bloody amazing. I had no idea what is was about and where it was going and I loved every minute of the ride.
One thing that irritated me, was the fact that the soundtrack was just too good. There are just too many good songs in this movie and it just doesn't stop. In other words, there are too many needle drops. Does that make sense to anyone else? I mean, just take a look at some of the artists featured (in no particular order): The Rolling Stones, Nina Simone, The Stooges, The Clash, Queen, Ike & Tina Turner, Supertramp, Ramones, Nancy Sinatra, Annie Lennox, The Doors, Electric Light Orchestra.
Seriously, leave some for the rest of us.
