Very cringe at times and other than that a predictable story arc that we have seen too many times before. Because it is based on "Canyon Dreams: A Basketball Season on the Navajo Nation" by Michael Powell and is not completely made-up, I'm giving it a generous three stars. All in all, I was underwhelmed. I thought it would become a better movie at about the 25-minute mark, but that didn't really happen after all.

Also, why is every shot ever made in basketball movies either a three-pointer or a dunk?
